Six Hours at the Reservoir

WHAT?

The third running of the Six Hours at The Reservoir, in lovely Ansonia, Connecticut! Counter-clockwise around 3.8-ish mile loops near the Quillinan Reservoir in Naugatuck State Forest on moderately technical singletrack at the end of winter. Yep, there could be snow on the ground, there could be ice. It could be 64 degrees and sunny. There could be mountains of mud. You have what it takes? I highly doubt it, so come on out and prove me wrong. Oh yeah, there's about 450 feet of elevation gain per loop so it's not easy.

Quillinan Reservoir, Naugatuck State Forest in Ansonia, CT. You better recognize.

WHY?

Because it's there.

WHEN?

Last Saturday in March of 2021. See above for possible weather outcomes- only a tornado warning or very deep snow will cancel this race. If the race date of 3/27 is cancelled because of a crazy aforementioned weather event or a "rough Covid-19 winter situation" then it will be postponed to May 15th, 2021

HOW?

Running. Should go without saying, but here we are: no crews, no pacers, no wimps, no whining, no refunds, no bandits, no jackassing, no douche-canoes, no attitudes. Just running. For six hours on rough trails with rad people. You'll get a dope pair of socks and assorted swag articles, an award from Ragged Cuts, and a clean porta-potty. And running, lots of running.
